Find Their Place in Art

Ninety-six years after “American Gothic” wowed the world, Grant Wood's iconic 1930 painting still intrigues viewers of all ages. Ms. Jackson can’t think of a better way to have a little fun with an assignment than to make a parody of this famous painting! Her students did a wonderful job and came up with some really creative ideas when Ms. Jackson challenged her students to an American Gothic Parody drawing contest. We are so excited to see these students finding their place in art!
The American Gothic Parody winners:
1st place — Diana
2nd place (tie) — Faith-Li and Aliyah
3rd place (tie) — Jonathan and Azealia
