LMS students in Ms. Kayla Kelly’s classes put science into action with a hands-on lab exploring mass, volume & density! Students measured the mass & volume of different objects and then used their findings to calculate and compare density. Through this investigation, students saw firsthand how objects that may look similar in size can have very different masses and densities. Hands-on labs like this make science come alive! They give students the opportunity to ask questions, make predictions, collect data, problem-solve & connect classroom concepts to the world around them.
