Quadralaterals

LMS 5th graders were caught diving into the world of quadrilaterals in Mrs. Gina Randol's math class. You know, those 4-sided shapes we see and use every day! They were exploring how shapes are built by discovering which lines must be parallel, congruent, or when it doesn’t matter how the sides connect. They’re also learning about interior angles and how these angles help us sort shapes into the right category. So… what makes a square a square?
2 sets of parallel sides
All sides are congruent (same length)
Vertices are formed by perpendicular lines
All 4 angles measure 90°
Keep an eye out, because you might start spotting quadrilaterals everywhere! Thank you Mrs. Randol, for putting math and investigation together to make learning in action!
