District Bee Winner!
LMS 7th Grader Caleb Willey won the LISD District Spelling Bee earlier today by spelling the word "psyche." This is Caleb's fourth time to win the LISD Bee to represent us at the Regional Spelling Bee in Lubbock on March 7th, 2026. If Caleb wins the Regional Bee, he will move on to compete in Washington DC! The Spelling Bee started with three third through eighth graders from each campus and went for seven rounds before the Bee was won. Congratulations to Caleb on winning and to all nine of the students in the Bee for your hard work!
