State Troopers Visit LMS

Texas State Troopers recently visited LMS students in Ms. Esperanza Salazar’s 5th Grade Reading classes to speak with students about the importance of positive behavior in the classroom and how those habits shape their future success. The Texas State Troopers shared insights into the education and training required to become a state trooper, including the steps after high school. Troopers emphasized that the journey begins now, with students making good choices and developing strong character in the classroom. During the visit, students learned what it means to be a good student by following classroom rules, staying focused on learning each day, and showing kindness to others. Troopers highlighted that helping classmates who may be struggling and treating everyone with respect are key qualities of both good students and responsible citizens. The visit served as a meaningful reminder that positive behavior, kindness, and hard work in school can open doors to future opportunities. We especially thank Gabriel Hinojos for taking the time to make a difference for our kids!
