LMS and LISD are thrilled to celebrate Mrs. Kimberly Ibarra, who continues to make a lasting impact on LMS students and in the LMS community! Mrs. Ibarra was recognized in September as an LMS Difference Maker and has now received another incredible honor last week! She’s been named as a Teacher on the Rise! As part of this recognition, Mrs. Ibarra received a $100 United gift card, a bundle of goodies from Mrs. Baird’s, a TTU Club gift card, and a Teacher on the Rise Certificate to proudly display in her classroom. This award was made even more special thanks to Declan Jaramillo, who nominated Mrs. Ibarra for the honor. In his heartfelt letter, Declan wrote: “Mrs. Ibarra is one of the best teachers ever! She makes learning fun and helps us understand hard things by explaining them in a way that makes sense. She even helps us with words that are tricky until we all learn them as a class. Her classroom is so creative and is always a happy place.” Declan also received a $50 gift card for his winning nomination. Congratulations, Mrs. Ibarra!
