GEAR/Robotics Game Board Engineered

LMS shares that 7th-grader Hayden Ewings designed and made the official game board for GEAR/Robotics in Stan Weatherred's construction class. It arrived just in time for Kick-Off this week!  LMS teacher Celinda Rejino's GEAR/Robotics will look a little different this Spring. Students will need to submit videos and attend video calls to demonstrate how many points their robot can collect and to describe the engineering process used to program and build their robot. This year's theme is "Gone Tubing." It is a repeat of last year's game board due to the season being cut short. Students are simulating their robot is working for a waterpark.  The robot is in charge of sorting, collecting, and delivering the inner tubes in the warehouse. Students have two minutes to collect as many points as possible. The first video submission is in early March! We wish the best of luck to the LMS GEAR/Robotics teams and we will be watching for good results!  Congratulations, Hayden for tackling the engineering achievement to help you and your teammates succeed!
