Rock Cycle Study

LMS Science teacher Clara Sanders #expectsexcellence took an out-of-the-box approach to get her LMS Science students moving and learning by engaging them in completing task cards in the dark. They studied the rock cycle, and Mrs. Sanders is hoping to spark an interest in a future engineer or geologist! Students enjoyed completing the task cards using flashlights and hardly realized that they were being challenged! They finished the week studying the rock cycle with a starburst science lab. Their objective was to create an igneous sedimentary and metamorphic rock using starburst candy. It was a fun and memorable experience for everyone!
