When you were an 8th-grader, did you get to sit in on a knee surgery, help victims in a car crash, or work as an electrician? Well, these 8th-graders in Mrs. Missy Passmore's Career & College Exploration class have! Workforce Solutions sent Career Coach Marina Molina to visit Mrs. Passmore's classes to give students this Virtual Reality Experience with professional-grade Oculus devices. All year long, Mrs. Passmore has helped students think about choosing a career path and/or college. This experience engaged students in a reality experiment that helped them decide if they might want to consider one of these options. They even had fun playing Answer the Career Question Jinga! We are always so thankful when we connect to organizations with our best interests in mind! Thank you, Workforce Solutions, for giving our kids this opportunity!
