Don't you want to play video games at school? You can in the LMS eSports class. It's never too early to engage students in computer skills! Participating in eSports helps students develop the same skills as other sports, such as teamwork, communication, problem-solving, strategy development, coordination, and creative thinking. These are all skills that they take with them to LHS and beyond. Mrs. Reba Griggs' #expectsexcellence and her LMS eSports Teams were caught using the MarioBrothers app and the RocketLeague app to compete against other Texas Middle Schoolers, and we couldn't be more proud that this CTE course prepares kids for a future in technology and competitive coding! We cannot wait to see what these youngsters do in the competitions beginning in February!
